PISAI

The ERASMUS programmes of the European Union are an essential part in the ongoing process of globalization. Trade and trade flows are based on needs and supply in different parts of the globe. Networking at the MSc level provides an opportunity to build bridges for the future, and to spot talents at an early stage. The PISAI Project involves 4 main Thai universities situated in key agricultural production areas that cover different geographical parts of the country. EU partners in the PISAI project were selected based on their competences and experience. The initiative creates double degrees at the master’s degree level between the key agricultural institutes in Thailand with support from EU partners. Active cooperation with participation of entrepreneurs under supervision of academics will bring about the outcomes applicable to the actual production situations. This is the most important element, and the education project goal of PISAI.  The establishment of cooperation with the private sector is important for student learning outcomes, for curriculum improvement and university performance. As a whole for economic change and global impact of the European Union, PISAI is a good learning  and training project.
